The modular octagonal arm sections reinforce the sturdiness of the Kite-22 camera jib crane. It is divided into seven sections, each measuring 4′ in length, overlapping by up to 1′ for varied lengths.

Arm length adjusts from 12.8 ft to 24.5 ft (24.5, 22.3, 19, 15.10 and 12.8 ft) to meet any professional demands. Each section is pulled from the previous one, so you can store unused sections in the tail as ballast weight and lighten your counterweight demand.

The Kite-22 Ultimate package comes with the Gravity Robust Tripod Stand to provide extraordinary stability to your heavy camera setups. It is a 2-section aluminum video tripod with a single tube leg design and a middle spreader, and the micro adjustment feature on the legs allows for quick balancing. It supports a 250 kg / 550 lb payload at 32″ height and 180 kg / 396 lb at 47″ maximum height.

The included D-33 Pro Dolly, a compact and versatile pro video dolly, adds mobility to the crane, and the locks on its wheels ensure static, jerk-free shots and easy assembly.

04Motorized control

Versatile motorized control.

The Proaim Spin-3 Pan-Tilt gives you precise, remote control over your camera on a jib or crane. Powered by a 12VDC battery pack or the included AC power supply, this lightweight, robust head sets up easily and is operated from an intuitive control box.

Three high-torque coreless 12V DC motors turn the head a full 360° on every axis — pan, tilt and Dutch roll — so the camera can point upwards, downwards or anywhere in between, for smooth, cinematic shots at any angle. The universal camera plate takes cameras up to 15 kg / 33 lb; need only pan and tilt? Detach the 3-axis bracket for 2-axis operation.

05Operation

Easy, precise operation.

Four controls on the box set how the head moves, so the shot ends the way you planned it. The joystick control system has proportional linear movement and comes with a 10-metre long cable and AC adapter.

The dead spot filters out unwanted distortions, and the damping function prevents the head from sudden jerks for smooth endings. The joystick is touch-sensitive: a small movement gives less speed, a bigger movement more speed.
